Introduction
The College of Lohas Industry was founded in August 2013 with Lohas sustainability and the promotion of health as its aims. It places emphasis on healthy diets and foresight. Its mission: the cultivation of industrial innovators that maintain Lohas concepts with both theoretical and practical competence in social service.
The college promotes healthy, sustainable industry related to recreational activity from the aspects offood, clothing, habitation, transportationanddevelopment of the body, mind, and spirit. It is the first industry college in the world that holds Lohas concepts as its principal theme. The college currently has both Department of Future Studies and LOHAS Industry (offering bachelor’s, master’s, and doctorate courses) and Department of Health and Creative Vegetarian Cuisine.
